Microsoft gets blamed for all sorts of things don't work from hardware to software, to the general direction the wind is blowing on a specific day by many people. It's great that they have such a recognizable corporate identity, but something you rarely hear from individuals is just how well Microsoft does back-up it's products with support and services..

Wow an 800 number and Microsoft's pledge to make Vista work the way it should in your environment and the company putting their money and reputation on the line with free support to help make things right.. This is quite exciting because this tells me that either they really stand behind Vista and the product's ready for "prime time" or they are going to lose a heck of a lot of money in providing this kind of backing and support..
This is great to see the company stand behind it's products in the enterprise and offering this level of product assurance..
