Well it's finally happened, I have moved away from using Blogger.com and moved to my own blog and mediacasting site. I have decided to go with Telligent's Grafitti CMS (Express Version). This really is a very nice full featured content management system for small sites and blogs. I completely recommend this to anyone looking to create their own blog site. The installation is very easy and it requires minimal configuration.

It's big sister is a product called community server, that is used world wide and is one of the best commercial site products out on the market.  As of this writing I have discontinued publishing to the old blogger site and content will be published here. I am working to move the most appropriate legacy content over, but in the meantime you can still access the old site at:

I hope you enjoy the new format, the content is very dynamic and we will be able to do some neat stuff with it. We will be adding a new Silverlight based media viewer with library. You might ask why I didn't completely do a blog in Silverlight. I thought about it, and it's really very possible. To be honest I "copped out" so you may see one in the future. I had to decide between doing something completely in Silverlight, which would be difficult at this point for me to make completely searchable without some major work. Or integrate it with other existing technologies such as ASP.NET. I decided to take a more integrated approach.

I will be talking about this more in the future and challenging you to tell me and show me which approach you took with this. Either way it should be a fun ride, and I am more equipped now to provide you with some incredible content.
